I am physically and mentally stronger and my confidence level is unbelievable.

Being the same age as Madonna, I have always thought that age should not prevent me from being healthy, happy and sexy. However, long working hours, the stress of work and family life, tempting food and attractive TV programmes have distracted me from that goal. I was a gym member but I rarely went there. With neither a plan nor enthusiasm, my efforts to exercise were without any positive results—until I met Shannon three months ago. Since then, Shannon has created a plan of how I can increase strength, improve my posture and burn fat tissue. We have worked hard, but it has never been unbearable or even difficult. Stretching at the end of a session helps a lot, and I never experience muscle pain after the sessions.

Actually, I look forward to having a session with Shannon after a hard day of work. It is never boring, and every session has something new and challenging. She uses the time very effectively by alternating exercises and the muscles involved. For example, if my legs are tired, we work on core or arm muscles while the legs are recovering. Shannon’s positive energy is contagious.

After just three months of exercising, I am much slimmer without having to diet, and my posture is amazing. I am physically and mentally stronger and my confidence level is unbelievable. If someone had told me earlier that exercising could improve my social life, I would not have believed it, but that is what happened to me.

I started working out with Shannon post 30 and post baby! This was the first time I had decided to take exercise seriously and was very nervous and hesitant about taking personal training sessions simply because I had never been a serious gym person. But after just 2-3 sessions with Shannon I was fully converted and exercise became a choice rather than a chore. I have exercised sporadically over the years and used personal trainers before but never stuck it out until I met Shannon. She made exercise interesting and innovative and her knowledge and experience as well as tailor made programme for my personal goals were all listened to and taken seriously.

Shannon’s motivation and variety of exercise really pushed me beyond my comfort zone but this is what helped me reach my goals and the results have been remarkable, she not only helped me achieve the best shape I have been in years but also gave me that extra spring in my step. ..the results were amazing…

I wanted to get into shape for my wedding paying particular attention to my arms. Shannon devised a fitness plan with lots of different routines focussing on each muscle area and the results were amazing, I never thought we could make such a difference in what was only 12 weeks.

The workouts were hard but they were easy to follow on my own and seeing Shannon really helped with my motivation. I would highly recommend Shannon, whether you want to aim for a special occasion or want overall fitness.

Working out with Shannon has been such an inspiration. She is really knowledgeable and has helped me change old bad habits in such a short space of time that I’ve been trying to crack for years!

Only 5 weeks in and I was so pleased with the results, including a 3 inch loss round my waist. The key has definitely been consistently doing a workout most days. Before I started I thought that would be impossible (and dull) with juggling work, 2 small boys, and everyday life, however with Shannon’s guidance and tailored workouts I have found it is very possible, enjoyable (mostly!) and the results drive me on. I look forward to continued success!

Shannon is genuinely passionate about what she does. She goes to great lengths to ensure that her classes are tailored to all, with modified moves throughout. She is always happy to take time to go over any exercises you might find a challenge. My favourite part of her classes though has to be how she tells you exactly how each move is benefiting you… for me this is usually just as I’m about to give up and it spurs me on to complete the set! Not easy classes and you know about them the next day but, as a mum of 3 with little time on my hands, I would much prefer to know that the time I am investing is getting results.

Good to have a few laughs along the way too. Shannon is also passionate about nutrition and often includes little pieces of advice to help you maintain a healthy diet. Thanks Shannon!
